The location of this place is fantastic, as it is very close to bars and restaurants.

our room was generous sized, perfect little and equipped with a/c and a comfy bed and garden. the staff tried to be very very helpful and knowledgeable and made our stay a really nice experience. location: the hotel was not far from bars, restaurants and the old town and the love lane rapid penang bus stop.

Location close to Love Lane, historical part of Georgetown, and the Old Town. And a 10-minute walk from Cheong Fatt Tze. Units with the semi outdoor bathroom. A wide range of options for breakfast in the café...

The hotel was quiet, the staff were ACCOMMODATING. The room was bright and big size with open air balcony, loved it. Meals were nice, and there was Holy Guacamole near the venue.

Loved George Town. The hotel was quiet in the back area. The room was generous-sized and airy. The bathroom was amazing. The personnel was amazingly nice and accommodating. The location was great and perfect, for example, New World Park was not too far from the venue. It was really close to the center of George Town, a bustling Georgetown and including public transport. Their food was nice with lots of meals.

Its location in George Town was unbeatable and magnificent, close to Love Lane and all the Street food in Georgetown, all shops and attractions, and bars😃❤

The rooms at MoonTree47 in George Town have a relaxed and cosy feel, perfect for a comfortable stay. The themed double-storey units with en suite bathrooms create a unique and charming atmosphere. The availability of basic facilities like a fan or air conditioning ensures a pleasant stay.

Personally, I found the steep staircase to access some of the rooms to be a bit challenging.

I had a wonderful stay at this centrally located motel. Kent, the owner of Moontree47, was an excellent host and provided lots of helpful advice on exploring the area. the entire place was impeccably clean and the value for money was great. I especially enjoyed the southeast Asian atmosphere with its blue wooden window doors and old Chinese furniture. the shared bathroom on the second-floor balcony had beautiful green plants and flowers, and offered a view of the nearby temple. I would definitely choose to stay here again. Cons: Nothing, all was good! 😊.

I recently stayed at Moontree47 for a few nights during my trip to Penang. The guesthouse has a unique and cozy atmosphere, with a beautiful garden, a cafe, and charming souvenirs. The other guests were friendly, and I especially enjoyed the company of Kent's two adorable cats. Kent, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable, even helping us book a last-minute flight when our bus plans fell through. The breakfast, including delicious cranberry scones, was a great way to start the day. If you want to experience the heart of Penang, this place is perfect.

Very tidy and lovely place equipped with everything you need. A good bed. Host is a great host and there when you need him, Very nice and wants to share all hé know about the area. the communication was super easy and quick and the place looks exactly like it does on the pictures. place is at a perfect location, very easy to get around with public transportation and walking distance to awesome bars and restaurants. We had a great stay! The owner and the staff of the hotel are absolutely wonderful. They are very helpful and kind. I arrived much later than expected and was unable to message because I didn't have internet or service, but the owner was waiting for me. I love their adorable cats as well. the building is quite beautiful as are many in the area. the location is great, centrally located, but on a quiet street. the rooms are beautifully decorated and you can tell a lot of care goes into them. I loved the rooftop shower as well. the entire place had a very peaceful atmosphere and was a wonderful place to relax on rainy days. :)
